Ioannis Prionas – CEO
Award-winning Structural Engineering Director with a scientific background and over 25 years’ experience designing, managing, and controlling the structural engineering aspects of a wide range of complex, high-value civil engineering and construction projects, including 3 Olympic stadiums for Athens 2004. Commercially astute team player with an impressive record of leading specialist teams in the implementation of entire project lifecycles from scheme designs and design calculations to completion. Experience of large new build public structures, alterations/refurbishments to existing buildings, transport infrastructure projects and highway engineering. Expertise in low damage design and seismic isolation of bridges and structures, seismic retrofitting and structural dynamics. Recognized ability to tackle the most complex design and systems issues. Industry leader in performance-based design.
In his current role as the CEO and Director of the business, Ioannis is responsible for the organic and revenue growth of the business whilst developing the team and serving the clients. Ioannis is also responsible for the strategic and business planning and manages clients’ relationships
Tony van Raat – Director
Tony van Raat is an architect with over 40 years experience as a practitioner and academic. During that time he has practiced for more than 20 years and been an academic for about the same length of time. He was for 15 years head of an architecture school in Aotearoa/New Zealand and developed links to China, India, Sri Lanka, Italy, the USA and the UK. In 2014 he was the New Zealand Commissioner for the Venice Architecture Biennale.
Tony is a Fellow of the New Zealand Institute of Architects and an ex-Chair of the Auckland Branch. He served a five year term on the New Zealand Registered Architects Board and is extensively networked into the profession and the wider building industry.
Tony has considerable experience of people management, strategic planning and in the development of new and creative business opportunities.

Structural Director
In his role as the Structural Director, Ioannis sets and executes Structural strategy in alignment with overall company strategy to achieve growth and profit targets. He is responsible for budget planning and building, staff development and talent management. Ioannis leads the business development and ensures Structural business revenue and growth targets are achieved. He also leads the technical development of the team and manages clients’ relationships.

Principal FEA Specialist
Arend is the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) specialist in our Structural team. Arend has more than two decades’ experience developing meaningful engineering solutions using FEA in a variety of industries. Since 2018, he has developed complex FEA models in DIANA for the seismic assessment and strengthening design of a number of commercial buildings in New Zealand.

Marketing
A passionate Marketing / Brand Manager with over 25+ years’ experience working for major international companies. Expertise in brand positioning, strategic planning, project management, using market data & reports (Nielsen & Aztec), P&L management, sales & channel management, stakeholders management, managing & executing all areas of marketing mix, using SAP system, organizational skills, time management, communication and presentation skills, international communication skills and last but not least people management (leading teams).
